No fics for the challenge yet. Though I'm almost done with a Face Loran fic that may fit one of those prompts.

BTW, does anyone else ever feel the ending of a story trembling out of reach, waiting for you to figure out what it is and complete the story.

That Wes Janson is taken on the Big Damn Table on fanfic100 coz I'd probably do something stupid like signing up.  I already joined swficchallenge.  I haven't written anything for it yet, but I joined about three days ago so I haven't had time yet.  So I really don't need some table to write about.  But it's tempting...so very tempting...

Right.  Time for bed before I do something stupid like sign up for the table.  Soon I will have the song that is driving me bats to pair with the icon that's driving me bats and fan fic writing will begin. 

I gotta break out my Rogue comics and read up on my favorite boys in orange.  *sigh*  I'm such a geek.

Today wasn't that interesting a day.  Went to the library book sale.  Got more books than I know what to do with.   I got some new fantasy novels and a few romances.  I even found a nonfiction research book for the novel I'm tenatively planning.  Woohoo!   Yesterday I went to the sale and got  copies of Wedge's Gamble and the Krytos Trap for $0.25 each.  I already have copies but these are ratty ones the library was getting rid of so I can use them as my research books and keep my good copies good for a bit longer!

Went to the evil land of Walmart and tried to get a new earbud for the cell phone (I still don't know how that thing works).  They had no headsets with a volume control.  How annoying!  Totally destroyed my diet today and enjoyed every bite.  Hehehee...I'll start dieting again tomorrow.

Other than that, I got a whole lot of nothing done today.   I'm hoping to be more active tomorrow. Maybe even fic-writing active. I should work on my original fic but I may slip into some fan fic instead.    A certain icon on this journal lt_wes_janson is giving me plot bunnies.  That combined with my love of 60's rock, that is.  So maybe my Face Bunnies will get some nappy time and Wes will come out and play.

Maybe I can have Wes shoot Buckethead again.  Jay would enjoy that.  He loves it when I write stuff like that.  I want to go dark and edgy for some Wes fic, but my moods are black enough lately.  Hmm...will have to consider what to write. 

My freaky plot bunny is almost done. I need to figure out the end and a name and then I'm done and it's ready to be beta-ed. *bounces* Now the bunny is sleeping! Soon I shall be writing smut again!

Yep...My Wraith bunnies are nibbling on my brain. Making it almost impossible to do anything but write. Which is good, except when I'm at work coz it I'm do distracted. And it's been AGES since I read Wraith Squad so I'm having to reread it and my Muse is not happy with how long it's taking to work. Maybe I'll skim the book to get the main points to write about, then do an in depth edit to polish the details.

BTW, why is it so dang hard to write a kiss? I think I must have written ten different versions of that kiss until I settled with one that fit the mood. And now I have to write another one! UGH...I think I'll skip that part and write some more angst.

Jay is completely squicked by me writing slash. I told him to just imagine that there's a girl in the couple and be happy. Didn't work. He still eeewwwed. I'm going to need to find a beta.

I saw this on shetigers blog so I stole it.

1) Right now, what do you feel are the 1, 2 or 3 best stories you've written since becoming/admitting you're a fanfic writer? What was it about that/those stories that really made you proud, or thrilled you about them?

1.  Downtime in Las Vegas.  It might not be the best fic I've written but it's the one I love the most.  It's the fan fic equivelant to comfort food.  The world fades away and writing is the way it SHOULD be.  It makes me happy so it's my best one.

2.  The Art of War.  I honestly think this was a milestone in my writing.  I had to really work at this one.  I had to think about how an alien species would act and think.  It expanded my characterization and my thoughts on how to create a character.

3.  I'm not sure what my third story would be.  The rest I like, but I truly love Downtime and Art of War.

2) What Professional writer (that is, paid author) would you love to see write a fanfiction story? What ship or fandom? Tell me a little about it.

I't can't happen, but I'd want Robert Heinlein to write Star Wars or Stargate.  (That's not going to happen without a seance but  a girl can dream).

3) What show/cartoon/kid's book from your childhood would you be amused to see in fanfiction? Would you consider writing one for this early love?

From what I've seen on fanfiction.net  EVERY cartoon I watched and book I read has a fanfic base.

4) Is there a fanfic of yours you'd like to see made into a Broadway show? Tell me about it! ("_____________: the Musical!"

I keep picturing Ton and Face singing showtunes.  That image is strangely alluring.  Bad Selina!  Bad!

5) Think about it--what could possibly be the WORST crossover out there? A story that Should Never Be Written? Hamtaro/V? Lost/Gilligan's Island? Come up with your most terrible pairing!

Actually I could see a Lost/Gilligan's Island crossover.  But then I'm demented like that.  I'm not going to answer this one because it'll just give me plot bunnies.

BTW, anyone know why LJ adds a return whenever I use the LIvejournal User button?

I'm figuring that the best thing to do to make my page look better is to actually post an entry. Even though I have no clue what to say. At least, I have no clue what interesting things to say. So instead I will post some fic. Normally I write about pilots, but this time I did something different. Here it is.
