I decided to try to break out of my funk by trying something new.  I dug out my guitar and attempted to play.  Notice I said attempted.

I haven't gotten past tuning the silly thing.  The websites and help guides say it should take about 5 minutes.  I've been working for about and hour and it's still not in tune.  I'm not even sure HOW to tune it.  But I'm trying, and that's a start.  I'm going to download a tuning lesson and hope for the best.

I should change my guitar icon from Jimi to "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" coz this is probably going to be pretty awful for awhile. LOL
